Originally from New Haven, Steve grew up in Baltimore. He played electric bass in several groups in Wisconsin and the New York area during the nineties. Steve moved to the Boston area in the early 2010s and shifted his attention to the upright bass. Steve is a founding member of the Standard Deviants and musical historian.
